Leggings
I think leggings are a wardrobe essential, regardless of whether one is wearing a brace or not! They can be worn under dresses, skirts, tunic tops or just for lounging round the house. They are fairly easy to get on and off without bending too much also - just hold them low down and manoeuvre one's feet into the ends and pull up. The stretchy fabric means that it isn't as cumbersome as it would seem, thank goodness!
Boden
In my opinion, the best leggings are from Boden. I even wrote a post about it on my money-saving fashion blog 'Savvy Chic, Canny Style' - click here to have a look! Basically, they are superb quality, being thick enough to not be transparent and they don't lose their shape, even when washed. They come in a great range of colours - black, light grey, navy and a kind of bluey-grey. The fit is perfect too; I buy my normal size. They also come in ankle length or cropped, so a great range. Although they are usually £22, I have found that they are worth it as they last far longer than cheaper versions aside from the quality - but Boden often have special offers and voucher codes that customers can use, as well as sales.

Monsoon
If that is still too expensive, the next best leggings I have found are the 'Mimi' leggings from Monsoon and are £15. Again, they are great quality and the fabric is robust, but I find the fit around the waist isn't quite as good as the Boden ones and so they aren't as comfortable. I still was able to buy my normal size though.
