How to Tie a Scarf
There are lots of ways to tie a scarf so I hope this page can give some inspiration as to the best methods. These are certainly the ones I use most often. For even more ways, have a look at the next page...
I've found this loose wrap is the easiest way of wearing a scarf and the method I use most often. Simply wind around the neck once, so each end falls down the chest. Simple!

This one is really easy - just wind around the neck and tuck the ends in.
Slip knots are also very easy. Just fold the scarf in half and tuck through the ends of the scarf to create a loop going round the neck.
Or you could just wear it simply hanging loose!

I think this French knot is really pretty. As is, it may not hide the brace but it may not matter - or it could be adjusted! Drape the scarf so the ends are hanging down your back, then bring the ends to the front. Tie to the side in a loose knot, then a second, tighter knot.
Place the scarf round your neck with each end hanging down the front of your chest and tie it in a bow. The bow can be as large or small and as near or far from your neck as you like.
For this double loop way to wear a scarf, loop it twice around your neck. Take one end over and down through the neck loops and tie the ends together.
This 'Four in Hand' method looks complicated but it isn't! Just fold the scarf in half and place the scarf around the back of your neck with a loop on one side and pull one of the ends through the loop. Twist the loop then pull the other end of the scarf through the loop.

I found the site Scarves.net really helpful when putting the above together. It's well worth a look at their other pages on tying scarves, as well as their store itself.
